The cross carrier chair was designed by Max Bill in 1952 for the Wohnbedarf furniture company and manufactured by the Horgen Glarus company. The name is derived from the crossed frames on the underside of the chair. Max Bill received several awards for this design, including "the good form" from the Swiss Werkbund. Very nice restored vintage condition.
