Company history

In 1919, after many years working in a Milanese metalworking company, Angelo Luigi Colombo decided to start his own business. Together with his colleague Mario Stabilini, he founded a company in Via Stradella 13 in Milan to manufacture cold-drawn iron and steel tubes for bicycles. What began as a specialized business continued to develop over the following years: The product range was expanded to include chrome-plated steel furniture, metal frames, and precision tubes for the aviation industry. The company thus established itself as an innovative manufacturer in the field of steel processing and laid the foundation for its later international reputation in the furniture and design sector.
