Carl Auböck, an architect from Vienna, not only designed the company logo for Arthur Salm Inc. for Arthur Salm, who had emigrated to the USA, but also objects – including the “Neptune” bottle opener. From the 1950s onwards, Salm produced stainless steel household products in Chicago, which were featured in the “Good Design” exhibitions initiated by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Stainless steel with leather coating.
