Italian vase produced by Vetro Verde di Empoli in Italy in the 1960s. Beautiful, thick-walled vase made of bright green glass with evenly arranged air pockets. The bright green colour of Empoli glass is due to the iron oxide that occurs naturally in the sand of local rivers and is used in the production of the glass.
