Beautiful “Circle” children’s chair from France dating from the 1950s, featuring the characteristic organic shapes and delicate lightness of the period.
Particularly remarkable is the hand-welded iron frame, whose elegant curves and refined lines give the chair its sculptural appearance. The entire woven section has been carefully and professionally re-braided by hand following the original historical pattern, preserving the authentic character of this rare children’s chair.
The combination of the airy braided work and the minimalist metal structure creates a timeless elegance that is typical of post-war French design.
