Lou Loeber, screen print, 20s

This set includes two high-quality screen prints based on designs by the Dutch artist Lou Loeber. The motifs “Geranium” and “Zonnebloemen” (Sunflowers) are based on original paintings from 1928 and vividly illustrate Loeber’s characteristic, geometrically simplified style. As a leading figure of Constructivist Modernism, she translated floral motifs into clear fields of color and precise geometric compositions. Both silkscreen prints are framed in simple maple frames with UV-protective glass, which optimally protects the works and preserves their brilliant color.
