Characterful Scandinavian vintage bench made of solid pine, which can also be used as a small table, crafted in the 1980s by a Finnish carpenter. The clean, unadorned design language and striking wooden construction reflect rustic modernism and the influences of Scandinavian brutalism. Inspired by the Finnish design tradition, particularly by designers such as Ilmari Tapiovaara and Olavi Hänninen, the bench combines original materiality with a timeless, sculptural aesthetic.

Recommendation for buying vintage furniture.
A design furniture piece from that era is different from a reproduction.
The furniture was perfect in our booth — we will always rent with you when we are in Basel!
