The name SAFFA stands for Società Anonima Finanziaria Fiammiferi e Affini – a traditional Italian design and manufacturing company founded in 1871 in Magenta near Milan. For decades, SAFFA was known for its exceptional craftsmanship and distinctive design. Since the company closed in 2001, original pieces have become rare collector's items.
