This original umbrella stand was made in Italy in the 70s. As part of a professional restoration, the surface has been newly lacquered, giving the piece a very well-maintained appearance. The design is typical of Italian aesthetics from this period: clean lines, functional construction, and a restrained, modern look. Umbrella stands from the 70s often combine practical use with a decorative presence, which is clearly reflected in this example. In good vintage condition.
