The legendary “Bachelor Chair” was designed in the 50s by Verner Panton for Fritz Hansen and is an outstanding example of innovative postwar Danish furniture design. The disassemblable armchair consists of an ottoman connected to the seat by an N-shaped bent steel tube, stabilized by two crossbars. The construction offers both elegant lightness and a high level of seating comfort. This set is finished in a rich beige and includes a matching cushion that further enhances the comfort. All components, except for the fabric, are original and in very good condition. An exceptional example of functional, form-conscious design that showcases the combination of aesthetic sophistication, precision craftsmanship, and playful elegance.
