Willy Müller-Brittnau (1938 in Winterthur – 2003 in Oftringen) created this color serigraph on paper in 1970 as part of an edition of 110 copies, the present sheet being numbered 74/110. The work is signed and dated "1970" in the lower right. The geometric composition is characterized by a clearly structured, constructive formal language in which reduced color fields and linear elements are combined into a balanced and rhythmic order. The work is exemplary of the artist's serigraphic work around 1970. The frame is made of solid maple.
