This small, handmade ceramic plate comes from Arnold Zahner's workshop in Rheinfelden. The warm brown glaze and clear design reflect the understated elegance and precision craftsmanship for which Zahner's work is renowned.
The finely graded glaze gives the piece a natural depth and emphasizes the materiality of the ceramic. An authentic example of Swiss studio ceramics from the 1970s: simple, functional, and of high artisanal quality.
