Belmag floor lamp with brass base, 50s

Elegant and exceptionally high-quality floor lamp from the Swiss manufacturer Belmag, dating back to the 1950s. The lamp is characterized by its slender, elegant construction made of solid brass and the meticulous workmanship of fine materials. Particularly appealing is the centrally positioned bracket covered in olive-green leather, which forms a beautiful contrast to the warm glow of the brass. The original raw silk lampshade has been carefully cleaned and reattached, preserving its original character. Inside, there are three E27 bulb sockets as well as an additional upward-facing light source that can be switched separately. This allows for different lighting moods to be created, ranging from soft, atmospheric illumination to generous lighting of the room. Especially noteworthy are the elegant switch ends made of carnelian, a reddish shimmering semi-precious stone, which add a sophisticated touch to the lamp. The electrical system has been professionally renewed and fitted with a high-quality textile cable. The lamp is in very beautiful, well-maintained condition. An exceptionally refined and timeless design object that impresses with its balanced proportions, high-quality materials, and extraordinary craftsmanship details.
