Bertil Vallien Glass Vase Blue, Boda 60s

This blue-turquoise glass vase was designed in the 1960s by Bertil Vallien for the Swedish glassworks Boda. The clear Scandinavian design language is complemented by a glass structure created during mouth blowing, which gives the vase depth and a strong presence.

Made of high-quality glass, the object is exemplary of Swedish mid-century design and Vallien's early, experimental work. Signed and numbered on the bottom.
