This elegant salt and pepper set by Dansk Designs, designed by Jens Quistgaard, originates from Denmark and was crafted in the 60s. The set is made of solid, carefully turned teak wood, whose warm coloring and vivid grain beautifully accentuate the natural character of both objects. Characteristic features are the softly curved, tapered silhouettes and the harmoniously balanced proportions. Quistgaard’s designs typically combine functionality with an organic, almost sculptural design language and exemplify the aesthetic of Danish Modern and Scandinavian mid-century design. A timeless yet decorative set that reflects the distinctive material aesthetics and craftsmanship of 1960s Danish design.
