This Murano glass vase was created by Ercole Barovier, one of the most important masters of Venetian glass art in the 20th century. It is made using the traditional murrine (millefiori) technique, in which colored glass rods are fused together to form vibrant floral patterns. This makes each vase unique.
The intense color effect and technically sophisticated workmanship are exemplary of Barovier's innovative strength and the high quality of the Murano glass tradition. An expressive collector's item of Italian glass art with great decorative effect.
