This bowl by Ercole Barovier dates from the 50s and was produced in Murano, Italy. Barovier, one of the most significant designers in Venetian glass history, profoundly shaped modern glass art through his experimental techniques and innovative forms. The bowl reflects the distinctive combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design sensibility for which Barovier & Toso is internationally renowned. Its organic shape and finely executed details make it a characteristic example of post-war Italian studio glass design. In good vintage condition.
