This elegant vase by Ercole Barovier dates from the 1950s and is made of colorless overlay glass. The finely shattered gold foil melted into the glass creates an elegant shimmer and underscores the high quality of craftsmanship. In addition, the wave-shaped surface of the vase gives it a sculptural quality.
A high-quality collector's item of Venetian Murano glass art and an expressive example of Italian post-war modernism.
