Large sculptural Italian table lamp, 70s

Exceptionally large and imposing table lamp from the 1970s with a sculpturally designed base made of solid brass. The characteristic construction consists of two semi-circular, adjacent brass elements that create an impressive sculptural effect through their clear geometric form and the interplay of the curved surfaces. The solid execution and high-quality craftsmanship give the lamp a special presence.

The original raw silk lampshade with matching top cover complements the brass base in a harmonious way and provides a warm, pleasantly diffuse lighting effect. The combination of heavy metal and fine textile underlines the elegant character of this extraordinary object. The lamp is in very good original condition and has been professionally rewired.

With its impressive height of 83 cm and a shade diameter of 49 cm, this lamp is much more than an ordinary table lamp. It acts almost like an independent sculpture and is an impressive example of the high-quality and expressive lighting design of the 1970s.
