A large, very beautiful Tabriz rug from Persia, circa the 1920s, featuring typical, finely crafted patterns from the Tabriz region. Well-worn with some stains, but still very decorative and visually striking. Of particular note is the rare weaver’s signature in one corner. An important quality feature and an indication of high-quality, individual knotting. An authentic and characterful piece of Persian carpet art with great charm. In good vintage condition.
