Large Tribu Morocco Berber Rug, Antique

A beautiful, restored Berber rug from the Atlas Mountains (“Tribu”), over 100 years old. This exceptional piece captivates with its vibrant colors, which have matured harmoniously over decades, as well as an impressive, richly detailed pattern that strikingly reflects the traditional craftsmanship of Berber culture.

During a professional restoration, various holes—still visible in the photos—were repaired, and minor damaged areas were restored. The work was carried out with the aim of preserving the carpet’s authenticity and original character.

Upon request, the carpet can also be backed with linen to give it even greater stability and longevity.

The rug has been freshly and professionally cleaned and is in very good vintage condition with an attractive, age-related patina. A rare and distinctive collector’s item for lovers of authentic, antique textiles.
