This original “Nur ein Hauch” (“Just a Whisper”) bowl was designed by Günter Kupetz for WMF in the 50s and is considered one of the iconic examples of post-war German industrial design. The design is distinguished by its remarkable lightness and organic form language, creating the impression that the material is almost floating weightlessly in space. Günter Kupetz was renowned for his ability to combine technical perfection with poetic design. This bowl is a striking expression of that philosophy, demonstrating how a functional everyday object can be transformed into an independent design icon. Its elegant, flowing silhouette and sculptural quality make it both a practical object and a decorative centerpiece. In good vintage condition.
