The height adjustable pendant lamp, also known as "The Pendant", was designed by Hans J. Wegner and is a real classic. The concept is based on the fact that this light is adjustable and the shade is provided with an integrated "handle", which is also a load bearing component of the lamp, but also enables the lamp to be adjusted in height without touching the lampshade.
The craft is also first class with great focus on quality and processing. The lampshade is made of aluminium, hand cut and then wet lacquered. The iron construction is handmade and includes the soldering, grinding, gilding and assembly with the individually vulcanised rubber seals.
In very nice vintage condition.
