An original serving table or rather, a serving table from the 60s designed by Heinrich Pfalzberger for Wohnhilfe. The structure consists of a chrome-plated tubular steel frame with clean, functional lines and a lower mesh shelf made of black-painted sheet metal. The upper level features an integrated aluminum container for tea lights. A rarely preserved detail that attests to the piece’s original use for the stylish serving of hot dishes. The design exemplifies the understated elegance of German mid-century design and reflects its affinity with the functionalist design ideals of the postwar era. Thanks to its transparent construction, the cart appears light and unobtrusive, yet offers practical storage space and versatile uses.
