Hereke silk carpet from Turkey, crafted in the 40s, featuring an artfully executed classic “Tree of Life” motif. This hand-knotted Oriental carpet embodies a rich tradition of symbolism that represents growth, harmony, and the connection between heaven and earth. Made from the finest natural silk, a Hereke silk carpet ranks among the most exclusive products of Oriental carpet art. The exceptional knot density, the richly detailed design, and the characteristic sheen of the silk attest to the highest precision in craftsmanship and the centuries-old knotting tradition of the famous Turkish workshops.
