Mid-Century ceiling lamp, designed by Flavio Poli for Seguso, 1960s: Elegant pendant lamp with brass tube and matching brass canopy, equipped with a double-layer diffuser made of solid, approx. 27 mm thick Murano glass in an aquamarine blue color. The softly rounded shape of the glass creates an atmospheric, deep-colored light and underlines the high quality of the Murano glass processing.
The interplay of warm brass and the powerful glass volume gives the lamp a clear, yet very elegant presence. Designed in the 1960s by Flavio Poli, one of Murano's most influential glass designers, this model exemplifies the sophisticated material and design language of Italian post-war modernism.
Original from the 1960s, in good condition. An extremely elegant lighting object with a sculptural effect.
