This Fledermaus chair was designed around 1907 by Josef Hoffmann for the legendary Vienna Cabaret Fledermaus and is considered one of Hoffmann's iconic works and an outstanding example of Viennese Modernism. The piece presented here has been professionally restored: the seat has been reupholstered with horsehair and covered with a high-quality, newly woven fabric that preserves the original elegance and comfort of the design. The original manufacturer's sticker is still visible on the bottom, confirming its authenticity and provenance.
