This Baluch carpet is a wonderful example of handcrafted nomadic art.
The Baluch is produced in 3 countries: in Iran, in Afghanistan and in Pakistan. They are characterized by predominantly orange, red and brown shades and geometric patterns. The name stems from the tribe of the Baluchen, but other tribes also make these to this day. Due to the nomadic nature of the tribes, large carpets are rare.
This carpet is made from high quality virgin wool, giving it good quality and high durability, and integrates excellently both in modern and oriental living styles. It creates a cozy ambience with a touch of Orient.
