Designed by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce in 1965, the “Pipistrello” table lamp is a milestone in Italian lighting design. The model is characterized by an extendable telescopic base and a sculptural shade made of opal methacrylate.
This version dates from the 1990s and has a black metal base and the characteristic, softly diffused light shade. One of the two lamps shows a slight brightening. In a good vintage condition.
