This original lithograph by Swiss graphic artist Peter Birkhäuser was commissioned by KLIBA (Korn- und Landwirtschaftliche Produkte Basel) in 1944. Framed in oak wood with museum glass, it served as a template for a later poster print by the renowned Swiss printing company Wassermann AG, Basel. The motif advertises oat products in stylized, illustrative imagery typical of the time. An outstanding example of the visual advertising culture of the Swiss post war period.
