This stylish glass bowl from the 1950s was designed by Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala for the traditional glass manufacturer Iittala. Wirkkala is considered one of the most important representatives of Scandinavian design and his work is highly regarded internationally. The bowl has an elegant teardrop shape, which gives the object a particularly harmonious and timeless appearance. The high-quality glasswork and minimalist design make it a beautiful example of Finnish glass art from the 1950s. It is suitable both as a decorative design object and as a functional bowl for fruit or small items. In good vintage condition.
