Teak Formica tubular steel desk 60s

A highly elegant and exceptionally well-crafted desk from the 1960s, featuring a refined architectural design and timeless aesthetic. Particularly noteworthy are the solid mahogany drawer fronts, whose rich grain and warm tones create a striking contrast to the desk’s clean and functional appearance.

The cabinet is finished in Formica and supported by an intriguing steel construction that gives the piece both visual lightness and structural sophistication. The combination of premium materials and thoughtful engineering makes this desk a remarkable example of Mid-Century modern design.

The original key is still present. The desk remains in good vintage condition, showing only minor signs of age and use consistent with its history. While the designer has not yet been identified, the quality of execution suggests a highly skilled maker.
