Stoneware object from the Swedish manufacturer Nittsjö ceramics, designed by Thomas Hellstrom in the 1970s. The work is characterized by a raw, earthy surface structure that underlines the material-focused character of the stoneware. Typical for Hellström are the playful, humorous animal figures, which give the object a lively and at the same time tongue-in-cheek charisma.
The piece is signed on the bottom and is an authentic example of the experimental, artisanal Swedish ceramics of the 1970s. An expressive, humorous work with a clear artistic signature and collector's character.
