This striking vase by Monica Backström for Kosta Boda of Sweden dates from the 1980s and captivates with its extraordinary “Moon Landing” technique and distinctive, rough volcanic surface. The combination of its sculptural form and fascinating glass texture lends it a special depth and makes it a striking design piece. A distinctive collector’s item of Swedish glass art with unmistakable vintage charm.
