XL Knud Andersen, J.C.A. Jensen, extendable dining table, Denmark, 1960s

This elegant Danish mid-century teak dining table was designed in the 1960s by Knud Andersen and manufactured by the renowned furniture factory J.C.A. Jensen in Aarhus, Denmark. With its clean design language, harmonious proportions, and the warm radiance of the teak wood, it embodies the timeless aesthetic of Scandinavian design in a particularly beautiful way.

In addition to its understated elegance, the table features a well-thought-out and convenient pull-out function. Two integrated extension leaves are hidden in a space-saving manner beneath the main tabletop and can be effortlessly pulled out using the so-called "Dutch pull-out" mechanism.

When pulled out, the leaves automatically rise to the level of the tabletop, extending it into a generous, flat surface. The table has been completely restored, oiled, and waxed, and appears in new splendor.
